Looking to advertise?
We offer a very limited amount of banner space, and no text-linked advertising at all. We are sold out of our banner space for 2011.

If you have a product or book you'd like us to consider reviewing, contact us by e-mail before sending to make sure we're interested. We really do not want you to go to the expense of sending us product unless we have a pretty good idea we might review it. Our review policy is below.

We no longer use a fax machine. If you have a document, please scan and e-mail the PDF.
Please note, again, that e-mails are much, much preferred to phone or mailed queries.
Because of the high volume of correspondence, we cannot promise a personal answer to every e-mail. If you have a pet-care question, please search the column archives — chances are we've written about your pet's problem before.
Product review policy
We do accept -- and occasionally ask for -- new products to consider for review in one of our media outlets. Please check with us for our interest before sending anything. Our receipt of a product (whether solicited or not) should in no way be considered the promise of a review, much less of a positive review. We cannot track products sent to us, nor can we return them.We cannot provide tear sheets or any form of notice if we do review a product. We do not post reviews for sales commissions, advertisements, free products or endorsements direct or implied.
Those products that are not destroyed while being considered for review (such a a pet toy) will be donated to charities.
Please note: We absolutely do not review pet foods or treats. We are happy with what we feed our pets, and do not use them to test diets whose claims of quality we cannot independently verify.
