Project Scout: Overwhelming puppy cuteness

I didn’t do anything overtly training-like yesterday with Scout, the guest golden puppy, mostly because I’m hip-deep in book editing now. I just kept working on keeping him successful, rewarding him for sitting instead of jumping, taking him out regularly with praise for using the yard instead of the living room, and focusing his natural need to chew on appropriate objects.
None of which takes much effort with this one. He’s a bright, sweet puppy.
At the end of the day, we enjoyed all enjoyed the cool summer evening outside:
