Kittehs: Whoz de highest winz de gam

It is simple logic. My eight cats say, “The kat whoz de highest wins.”
It is a dominance thing. Or just a silly game. You can never tell with cats.
My cats are all indoor kittehz so their game is limited to bookshelves and refrigerators.
Kuranda sent me two of their dog beds and a nine level cat tower to test, so the cat games inĀ my house commenced. (My hubby told me just because there are nine levels and we have eight cats does not mean we need to go adopt another cat — drat.)
Constructed from PVC pipe for strength and durability, Kuranda beds are tough enough for shelter use. The company has a donation program where the public can set a mission to donate beds for every dog in their local shelter, like the happy dog in the photo at right. The dog beds start at $49 and go to $124. The two level cat tower is $67 and the nine level is $207.
What else is a fabulous product for cats?
CattyStacks are all the rage in the cat world. They fill two needs: height and play. Seemingly simple cardboard designed boxes, right? Well, good luck making your boxes in your garage into one of these origami boxes. These boxes are not your regular cardboard – they are 100% recycled, recyclable double-walled cardboard which can support 75 lbs of static weight!
The kits start at $34 for two boxes up to $179 for a “baker’s dozen.” Here is a video of my neighborhood kids (yes, I feel like Tom Sawyer) putting together twenty-four CattyStacks:
The best part is we are delivering the assembled CattyStacks to shelters around South Florida. Shelter kitten testing is the number one way to do a product review, don’t you think? Here is a video my daughter took of CattyStacks in the kitten rooms of our local Humane Society:

I find the juxtaposition of this review with David’s post this morning very amusing.
Or chilling, I guess, depending on your point of view. ;)

Notice how I said that as if I were not in fact the one who chose to release the review when I did?
Apparently I’ve been subverted by Teh Cute.
