Botswana? I thought you were in France!

Paris was a waystation to break up the trip. No breaks coming back, though: just our butts in coach seats for I don’t know how many hours. Trying not to think about it.

Wow!

Beyond awesome!
This leopard is fast enough to get his own food and take it up with him without checking out at the drive-through.
Nice bloody fast food lunch, but being a vegetarian I’ll stick to the fast food restaurants, thank you.

The food wasn’t fast enough. Remember, you don’t need to faster than the leopard, just faster than the slowest member of your herd.

Gorgeous. I am envious.
Is that a radio collar?

Yes, there’s a predator research group in the area, so that’s one of the cats that’s collared.

Woohoo! We’re back. Had a great time but we’re happy to be back in California and can’t wait to see the girls in an hour or so. I wish we’d had a video camera so y’all could have had sound effects too.

If you want a soundtrack, I volunteer the hoots. I’m good at hoots.
