If you’re visiting for the first time, coming from Dr. Oz’s site to buy a shelter pet a bed, I hope you’ll bookmark us and check back regularly. And don’t forget to “fan” Dr. Becker on Facebook and follow both hisĀ Twitter feed and our PetConnection Twitter feed. You can also sign up for the free monthly e-newsletter, here.
Please feel free to leave a comment, but do know that the comments of first-time commenters are moderated. Once you comment once, you’re free to comment without moderation. (Although we do reverse the right to moderate discussions here when need be.)
Now that those pleasantries are out of the way, let’s help some pets rise up (off the concrete), lie down (on a comfy bed), and move out (into a loving home)!

Yes, I missed you. Been having computer problems and wondered if I’d lost you in the fray or if the bad weather across the country had anything to do with not being able to access. Glad to see you are back online. Got to have my “PCB fix” every day.

According to Mike and the guys at Black Dog. a whole bunch of servers crashed, taking down our web site and a lot of others. At first we thought maybe it was traffic from Dr. Oz’s Facebook fan page, but Mike says that was just a coincidence.
Too bad, because I hate thinking about all those pet beds that MIGHT have been donated while we were off-line. Hope those folks try to visit us again.

Thank you so very much Dr. Becker for helping the shelter animals, they need us! My name is Kelly, I live in Naples Florida and I am on a mission!! I made a visit yesterday to the Collier County Domestic Animal Services (DAS). Since that visit I have made it my goal to make sure that all the animals at DAS have a Kuranda bed. Some already have beds, but the ones that do not are forced to lay on the cold, hard concrete floor. I want to make sure that when the shelter dogs go to bed at night they have a soft comfortable place to lay down their heads…..that is the least we can do for them. Due to the shelter being over crowded I want every night to be as comfortable as possible for them as that may be their last night. Please help us to reach our goal of 100 Kuranda Beds. Donations can be made directly to the Collier County Domestic Animal Services at http://www.kuranda.com/donate/1067 or http://www.colliergov.net/index.aspx?page=100
Thank you,
Kelly
