They called it puppy love — and who can blame them?

I got an update from my future puppy’s breeder today — along with several photos of the wee bairns, now 5 weeks old. I couldn’t stop staring at them.
Then I remembered no one pays me to look at puppy pics all day long, which is a situation I intend to remedy soon. But in the meantime, let’s pretend this blog didn’t make its reputation on cutting edge criticism of the role of animals in our society and its inter-relationship with issues affecting people such as legislation, food safety, government regulation, drug research and medical ethics.
No, let’s pretend this blog is all about how cute and enthralling puppies are!

OK, I gotta say the “wee” bairns are cuter than black retriever puppies. Pains me to admit it, it does.

I thought this blog was all about how cute and enthralling puppies are. You mean I was supposed to be writing about serious stuff?!

Just put my name in today with a breeder friend who is planning 2 litters this spring. I am so excited about the prospect of a puppy I can’t stand it! Looking at those lovely sighthound pups is almost more than I can take!
Have they been evaluated yet? Do you know Christie which one will be yours?
