Dr. Becker on ‘The Dr. Oz Show’ tomorrow

December 13, 2009

marty_red_shirtAs a member of “Core Team Oz,” our own Dr. Marty Becker will be on “The Dr. Oz Show” Monday with a segment on an important topic:  He’ll be detailing how you should be prepared to respond to a pet emergency.

What is the No. 1 thing you do in a pet emergency (hint: it involves the pet’s teeth)? How do you stop bleeding, save a dog who’s choking, respond to a poisoning, treat an extreme allergic reaction, perform CPR?

Check your local listings or the the Dr. Oz Show website for channels and times.

  1. Hi,
I saw you on the Dr Oz show with a lady who fed her dog too much. You had a ball that dispensed the dog food out slowly while the dog played with the ball. Where can I get this ball? What is it called? Thank you so much for the wonderful information you shared on this show.

  2. Connie, there are a few toys like that, such as the Buster Cube, the Busy Buddy toys, “stuffing” Kongs and one of the Nina Ottosson toys, among others. .

  3. hi, I love to hear remarkable stories regarding animals. I had a dog that was injured and was told she would never walk again after having an MRI. I did research and did all therapy on her myself. and she recovered about 90%. It was my greatest accomplishment of my life.
thank you for caring for animals so much.
