Tessa spent almost eight years doing therapy visits. We went to kids Hospitals and Seniors homes weekly, and it was quite honestly the most fulfilling thing I have ever done with dogs.

Our most touching moment was when Tessa was requested by a young girl who was dying. Watching Tessa being able to bring some peace to her, and to her parents, is the proudest I have ever been of my girl.

If you have never done therapy work, I can't possibly recommend it enough. I truly think that the dogs love the work, too.

LOL. I see I should have written that David likes working in the "dark," not the "dog" so that people don't see him cry when he talks about these visits. And Angel on a Leash is in 12 different facilities around the country, not county.

It truly is amazing. My dog is our school therapy dog and he comes to work with me 4 days a week. The effect he has on the kids and staff is heartwarming.
