Monday on ‘Dr. Oz’: It’s our Dr. Becker!

October 18, 2009

DrMartyPhotoSet your recorders! On Monday our Dr. Marty Becker returns to the hottest new show on daytime TV: “The Dr. Oz Show.”

The topic:

How can you know if your pet is sick? Catching illness early will save your pet suffering and may send you money as well. Dr. Becker, a member of Dr. Oz’s core team of experts, will explain what every pet-lover needs to know to spot illness. The life you save may be your pet’s!

Check here for the station and air time for “The Dr. Oz Show” in your area.

And don’t forget: If you’re in Sacramento TODAY, Dr. Becker will give a talk  on “The Healing Power of Pets” and a book-signing this afternoon at the VCA Sacramento Referral Center.  (I won’t be talking, but I’ll be signing, too!)

  2. Can one see it on the web at all, if one does not have a TV?

  3. I am sure this will be another interesting and informative segment. Can’t wait to catch the replay - will have to miss the live version as I am at work (it was sooooo nice lounging in the sun, but it had to end sometime!).

Good luck at the book signing, too!

  5. I watched Dr. Oz and Dr. Becker.

It was a wonderful segment that Dr. Becker did on noticing how to tell if your pet is sick. He had to rush, though, to get in as much as possible.

One small comment I am making. I do not think Dr. Oz liked being told that his dog was overweight. Dr. Oz took it lightly, however.

Usually the overweight comment is the first thing I hear from my vet—so I am sensitive to it.
