When I was doing the reviews I had to file accident reports on two cars — and they were the two most expensive cars I’d driven in three years, wouldn’t you know it!

Fortunately, NEITHER accident was my fault. The BMW X6 was side-swiped while parked, and the Range Rover was hit by crap coming off someone else’s truck.

Surprisingly, JudithAnn the Van has not run back across the street to Judy’s house yet. But note that Christie seems to be having second thoughts about selling the xB to serial car killer.

Also: Don’t think I can’t kill a hybrid-drive or all-electric car. I just haven’t really had much opportunity yet.

My mom loved her Scion like woah. Gina asked if I was sure I wanted her to have it, since she tends to not take very good care of her cars. Interesting question, but if I sold it to stanger, I’d just never know, right?

But she really did adore this car. When they first came out, it was like a cult.

You won’t regret the xb (xbox) if you get it. I love mine and you can squeeze a ton of stuff in it. I also get 34 mpg in mine (I mostly do the freeway)

I already mentioned this one to Keith. There’s one that I see in the parking lot of my grocery store, and I had the same reaction you did: “Wowser … DogCar!”

DogCars should someday check out the Ford Transit-Connect van. My dog-show friend and I zeroed in on one in front of us at a red light. We both grinned and pointed: “That’s what I want,” we both said. I haven’t touched one yet, but it looks promising.

And yes, we name our cans, too. Mt girl is Fancy Van, the 2000 Ford E-150 with custom interior in the front and lots of room for dog stuff in the back.

Fancy Van has gone on major road trips, heading north to the redwoods and east to the deserts. She’s been to dog shows and hauled all our camping gear. She’s acted like a farm truck carrying bales of hay, and loads of pumpkins, and anything else that we need.

And the dogs love her!

And I pat her on the dashboard regularly because cars need love, too!
