OzshowI gotta get Dr. Becker in here this week to tell the incredible tale of what it’s like to be in on a hot new show from Day One:  The excitement, the stress, the nerves … and The Chihuahua.

Dr. Becker taped his first segment for the new “The Dr. Oz Show” a couple weeks ago, and they liked it so much they put it in the first week of the new show. (Here’s an article about the new show that mentions the segment.)

Check out Dr. Becker on Wednesday’s show (Sept. 16) — here’s where to find the time and channel locally.

He’s heading back later this month for his next taping, and I’ll have more on that when I know it.

In the meantime, our article on solving pet problems is in today’s issue of Parade. You can check it out online,  right here.

Thank you ALL for your kind words on Heather. Our time left together is short, but we’re making the most of it. Whatever Heather wants, Heather gets. Today, I believe that will involve roast chicken. :)

  1. Yes, roast chicken is the way to go for Heather. I wonder if Faith is going to get some, too.

I read the Parade article and enjoyed it thoroughly.

I do support the idea—as stated in the Parade article—of multiple cat litters It works very well in my household.

Heather, you are such a sweet dog, enjoy the roasted chicken!

  5. Gina- good luck on this journey with Heather. I am sorry for the current state of affairs, but it wounds like you have your head on right about the whole situation. Never give up on a dog who is still eating! You eat to stay alive, so the desire to eat correlates with the will to live in my book.

If she is still in pain despite the meds, give me a call. I have a few tricks up my sleeve for analgesia.

Congrats to Marty! Can’t wait to see the debut!

  6. Oooooh! My post-surgical pain meds leave a lot to be desired! Care to spill the beans? LOL!
