I am waiting to see how she does off the Previcox and will make some choices then. The milk thistle is an excellent idea...thanks for the reminder! Then I taped the charts to the backs of them, and peppered them with name stickers. It didn't work for drops of course, but for all those fiddly split pills on irregular schedules it worked like a charm. My take on all medications AND supplements is, take only that which you need ... but if you do actually need something, it's not going to do you any good in the jar. Good nutrition, good drugs - and good exercise - together they make my life much better. I like to keep myself and the four-leggers on a minimal amount of drugs, but when you need them you need them. Or affordable? Also, adding Sam-E(oh no, more stuff to make a chart for!) and milk thistle to her diet now will help in the long term with indefinite use of an NSAID and potential liver issues.
