It's amazing how quickly the temperature inside these cars can reach fatal conditions. At the pet hospital my husband and I own, we've seen quite a few dogs needing treatment for hyperthermia. Even with agressive fluid therapy and cooling down the dog's body core temperature, there's no guarantee that the damage can be reversed.
