‘Be Kind to Animals’: That’s every week, here
By Gina Spadafori
May 4, 2009
This is Be Kind To Animals Week.
I was feeding puppies at 4:30 a.m., followed by cats, parrot, adult dogs and chickens. It’s time for someone to be kind to me.
Pupdate: Four weeks old today. They are doing great, and they have figured out that gruel is served as soon as I wake up, which means the sooner I do wake up, the better.
Who could sleep through such a racket? (Note: noisy video!) They are cuter by the day, though, so I’m enjoying every minute with them.

Thanks for the video clip. The soundtrack had my 13wo Aussie almost standing on her head trying to figure out where those puppies were! At 13 weeks, she, too, gets cuter all the time. Enjoy!

They are SO CUTE.
ALL of my guys came RUNNING in from outdoor when I hit play, too - apparently Upset Puppy is universal. :P

My 3 FCRs usually ignore any noises coming from the computer speakers. This vid had all 3 of them checking out the desk, trying to find those noisy puppies.

LOL At least the 8 ,4 week old foster pups that I have let me sleep until 6 before they all start to sing for their puppy porridge.

Funny, but Tigger was sound asleep in the other room when she heard the video. She bolted up, barking and ran in to check it out. She was looking for the pups, I think.

I’ll see you your dogs and raise you one cat! That puppy sound started and she jumped up like she’d been poked with a needle and came over to see what in the heck was going on!

Sam is in agreement. Breakfast can NEVER be served too early. He sends kudos to the puppies for their work in training you to feed them ASAP!

And yet here, that racket is completely ignored by all the other pets. 12-year-old Heather pretends she has gone deaf … and yet can hear the lid turn on the treat jar from 100 yards away.
