From http://rationalwiki.com/wiki/Shoo!Tag

"If this thing does all that its manufacturers claim, why isn’t it being shipped in container-loads to the mosquito-ridden equatorial regions across the globe in an effort to wipe out malaria?

Think about it – who is likely to be the most gullible: pet owners...or scientifically trained doctors who want nothing more than to stamp out the scourge of a disease that kills hundreds of thousands of people every year."

Also check out http://www.tetherdcow.com/?p=7497 and http://www.tetherdcow.com/?p=4691 for a thorough debunking of the pseudo-science Shootag claims to use.

The tags that the sisters are wearing in the picture are the ones designed for horses. They are much larger than the tiny tags for dogs and cats, which are about the size of a couple of postage stamps.

So, would you use the Shootag on your pets? One comment - it seems the tag would be a bit inconvenient hanging from the neck. Would it be uncomfortable for the pet when he/she lays down on their stomachs with their chins on the floor.

Those Kitty Boinks look like big fun! One of my little cats favorite toys is a similar plastic spring toy, which I call boing-boings. All I have to do is say the magic b-b words and she comes running to play.
