Video break: Cutest young veterinarians-to-be ever!

When my friend Brenda told me her daughter and daughter’s friend had turned the second story of their home into an elaborate “veterinary hospital” I laughed and asked her to take some pictures. She did even better: She made a video.
Are these girls not the most adorable? And can you believe the work that went into this play?
X-rays? Scrubs? IVs? A full pharmacy? Wow, girls. You rock.
I think what all the grown-up veterinarians will REALLY enjoy is how at 5 o’clock sharp the work is done and it’s time to go home!

When I was their age I ran an orphanage. And I didn’t have all the cool technology. That kind of play is so healthy.

Super cute. I never pretended to be a vet, even though I always wanted to be one- I pretended to be the animals themselves. I made a darn ferocious tiger!

You have managed to bring up your daughters as intelligent, imaginative human beings. Whether they really become veterinarians or not, they will be successful. Sorry, Barbie…
