Congrats to Ben and Emily! Cheezburgers for all!

After the pet-food recall settled down, Ben and Emily Huh of Itchmo left their forums up but froze their site, to focus on their darling LOLcats trendsetter, Icanhascheezburger.
The book based on the best of the LOLCats is a certified New York Times best-seller. Check it out, and buy a couple. Needless to say, it’s a great gift for anyone with cat and a sense of humor, which is to say pretty much everyone with a cat.
To be quite frank I’m truly disappointed in Ben right now for leaving everyone in the Itchmo Community helpless, without support, information, or even a hint of what the status is with this one week long shutdown.

Steve, honestly, it’s not Ben’s responsibility to keep Itchmo open for life. His life has moved in other directions, and I’m glad for the success he and Emily have had.
Since you are so involved with these issues, why don’t you open a forum and then get the gang over to your new place? That way, the forum would be owned by someone who was still involved in food-safety issues.
