One test down, three to go to Junior Hunter

October 5, 2008

McKenzie did so well today that I regret bailing on yesterday’s hunt test. The weather was great, and the longer I’m “in” this stuff the more wonderful people I know and see at events. Almost all my training companions and friends passed today, which made the day awfully nice all around.

Gotta hit the shower, grab a bite with my brother (the high school football team he coaches lost yesterday, so we’re one for two in competition this weekend) and then write the Pet Connection newsletter.

And then … sleep, blissful sleep for all. After eight hours out in the sun and wind, I know I’ll be asleep in no time at all.

Miss McKutie, I bet, would rather go to the river to celebrate. Maybe tomorrow, McK.
