It’s official: A Parade for us next weekend

I never mention projects until the contract is signed … I’m just superstitious that way. But this time I waited so long to get past the “pinch me, I may be dreaming!” phase that not only has the contract been signed but also the check has been cashed.
I think it’s safe to dish now.
A week from tomorrow (Sept 14), our Dr. Marty Becker and I have a piece in Parade magazine. Parade, the most widely read magazine in the United States, with a circulation of 32 million. That Parade.
Although I’ve already seen the page as it will appear in the magazine, I can’t wait to see it actually in the magazine.
The topic: Saving money on pet-care.

Congratulations on the Parade piece! This is truly a thrilling and well-earned step in your creditable career and beloved vocation of pet writing. There is no better than you!
I continue to await your weekly TV show!
Go Gina!

How cool is that! You’re a celeb…and well deserved.

I agree it is well deserved.
Both of you are great writers and both of you go to great lengths to get at the facts.
Congratulations! I look forward to reading the Parade piece.
By the way, Gina, the Council in Fort Collins, Colorado has approved of keeping female chickens, called hens, with restrictions. (Just nobody tell the foxes the news).

Yay! I can keep Fort Collins on my relocation list!

So cool! I’m hoping for a picture of Heather in Parade…

Alas, no picture of Heather. Or me. Or Dr. Becker.
Just good advice!
