I’m really enjoying Twitter. I noticed that VPI has an account now, and they’re twittering unusual claims:

  • Wait, August isn’t over yet: 1 ingested tube of gorilla glue, 1 cactus to the eye, 1 rat attack and 1 poisoning due to gel bra inserts.
  • BTW, it turns out an ingested chocolate cake can set you back about $600. (1 reason to be thankful you’re not a dog.)
  • August recap: 1 skunk attack, 1 “hit by dog,” 1 ingested chocolate cake and 1 dog who drank too much port-o-potty “water.”
  • Actual claim received yesterday: “Labrador stung by jellyfish.” … Big beach weekend coming up, guys. Remember to stay safe!

Here’s the feed … and you can click in the VPI banner above for more on their pet halth insurance policies.

I notice Laura Bennett of Embrace pet health insurance has a Twitter feed, too.

  5. OK I’m just tech challenged. I still don’t know how to Twitter. I set up my account and tried and…I don’t know…somehow lost interest in all the uncertainty over how the thing worked.

I know…more coffee…and back to Twitter now that you’re all there.
