‘Survivor’ with dogs, from Hell, Michigan

One of my retriever buddies is Terry, who lives in Michigan. She has grown kids and a grandchild she finds every excuse to visit in Southern California. She also has two retrievers, Ghillie and Penny.
She’s an extremely creative and funny person. For her Flickr friends she put together a season of “Survivor,” set in the town of Hell, Michigan, and staged with help of two friends and their dogs. She writes:
If you are a fan of Survivor, the reality TV show, this will all sort of make sense to you. If you’ve never watched it before you will probably think it’s pretty weird.
Either way you’re probably right.
Click on the picture below to bring up the first picture in the series, then just click your way through it to the end. Very cute and clever, perfect for a Friday afternoon.

Ghillie is a helluva lot cuter than Jeff Probst.

We saw the Survivor ‘camp’ set out behind Ice Screams in Hell and we both looked at each other and shouted WE NEED A SURVIVOR GAME-with dogs!
My Grian and Maizy had so much fun—the games even encouraged baby Maizy to go to the vet to get another shot of more immunity just for the games!
And it was so much fun to meet Spash and Nic who were visiting just in time to join in the Survivor Challange!
We look forward to the day when we can visit Gitchi Gummi and perhaps another chapter of Survivor-doggy style!
