The story becomes more interesting by the day! There is so much to digest and learn.

According to Thoroughbred Times, Big Brown will run the Belmont with no additional Winstrol:

http://www.thoroughbredtimes.com/racing-news/2008/June/03/No-steroids-for-Big-Brown-before-Belmont.aspx

Almost every Triple Crown can be slighted in one way or another. Weak fields, sketchy training practices, etc. Whether you like Big Brown or not, a win on Saturday will be impressive. No Triple Crown winner has defeated more than seven rivals, and Big Brown is scheduled to face ten.

If you want to root for a horse who is running on hay, oats, and water, Japanese-trained Casino Drive is your boy. Check out Bill Finley's outstanding column and his biting remarks about the Belmont and drugs in racing...

Re: the crappy feet.... There is no evidence that the quarter crack is anything that would be passed on to his offspring. In my opinion, his pedigree would be a bigger limitation than his feet on the road to becoming a successful sire.
