Gina, I highly doubt that I'm much more evolved than you. Nor nicer.

I love well-written snark, which is why I'm enjoying FHOTD even through it's showing me that for someone who has spent so much time at horse farms, I know surprising little about horses themselves! (Since I'm in Chester County, PA, I'm there for the manure -- horse isn't top for veggies, but free and readily available beats travelling all over the place for one's sustainable primary nitrogen source! ;-)).

I can't tell quality from those pictures of the HORSES, but if FHOTD starts giving us photos of the manure pits, I'm sure I could tell in an instant where's the best place to start digging! ;-)

Deanna .... you're just a much more highly evolved person than I am, and probably a nicer one, too. :)

You're right on making fun of people for their language skills. We never ... uh ... rarely do that here. (I'm thinking of the "no-inbreading German shepards.")

I like to laugh at silly though, too, that's why ICanHasCheeseburger is there.

So ... it's both snark and giggles for me!

Am I the only one who can do without all the snark on blogs? (Ref. FHOTD) I have enough negativity in my life thank you very much. That's why it's "ICanHasCheezburger" for me.

I have never, ever judged a horse person on their ability to articulate, their vocabulary nor their ability to spell or use grammar correctly. Some of the most knowledgeable people on the subject of HORSES (inc. conformation, breeding, pedigrees and training) whom I've come into contact with didn't crack a book at school. Most didn't graduate or barely graduated from high school, but they went to the school of hard knocks. Knowledge comes in different forms. Intelligence comes in different forms. Yes, I realize the fugly horse person picks on backyard breeders whom I would also eschew, but all the snark for snarkiness sake just gets tiresome.

My desire for a Kindle is all-consuming. I'm forcing myself not to buy one, because there are about ten million things I need $400 for more than that.

But oh, I want one...
