Christie has out of state company. Kim is visiting family out of state. And I’m wrapping up the new books for fall.

Blogging will be light to non-existent during the holiday weekend. If you see something worth sharing, pop a few words and a link into the comments.

And relax! Summer is (not officially, but sorta-kinda) here!

  1. Well I think this is new worthy, PETA has been targeting the Rabies Challnage Fund and wants to free the 70 beagles used in the study. You can read about it here on my blog complete with the Dr. Jean Dodd reply.

  2. Of course PEtA would go after RCF with all the propaganda weapons it has at its’ disposal! RFC is for the good of the dogs! Ingrid Newkirk and her minions want to completely sever any human animal and non human animal bond, from food source to couch companion! Anything that helps better the lives of any animal, especially significantly changing canine rabies vaccination protocols would be looked on as abhorrent to their cause.
Dr.Dodd, Dr. Schultz, Kris Christine and the rest of RCF are my heroes. While the results won’t change things for my dogs, they will for the future, that is if Ingrid and her loathing for non human animals isn’t brought under control!

  3. Funny but Dodd has supported PETA. Since learning this, I am now very leery of anything that Dodd does. She is the past president of AVAR. How many are aware of this?

  4. I went looking for anything supporting this, and what I found at http://community.dog.com/forum.....47826.aspx was the following statement attributed to Dr. Dodds:

“I’m the Past -President of the Scientist’s Center for Animal Welfare and a 20 + year member of AVAR — the Association of Veterinarians for Animal Rights”

So I’m kind of inclined to say “Close, but no cigar”.
