Gratuitous kitten blogging: Caturday deadline edition

No big blog post from me today: I gotta write for deadlines, big-time. The fall books are due to the publisher … May 25.
OMG OMG OMG.
Actually, we’re in good shape, but still … May 25.
Maybe Christie or Kim will jump in today with some good reading. I’m not even going to look in here today (well, maybe once or twice, heh). In the meantime … I’m sharing this picture I took last night of Ilario catching a bug.
By the way, Clara is now allowing him within a foot of her before she moves away. Hasn’t hissed at him for a week. It’s just a matter of time before she gives up and decides she likes him. What’s not to like?
It’s a soap opera around here, I swear, with the animals playing all the characters.
Honestly, I don’t understand why anyone would choose to live without pets. But then, I’m a pet-care writer, so what do I know?
Please share links to any good reading you find.

My Batman cat says, in his own way:
“Bugs, yum, yum, eat ‘em up!”.
Love the soap opera of Ilario and Clara, especially (a cat lover, can’t you tell?).
Clara is finally realizing that Ilario is a good, but she is cautious in her final analysis of how he will fit into her needs such as playing, bossing around, or even just keeping her company. Maybe they can boss the big dogs together.
Waiting patiently for the next episode, when your busy schedule allows.

To all women who care for some creatures
Happy Mom’s Day
May the day go well for every human
That’s all I’ll say!

Thanks, Gina—I am taking your wish personally.
It is a great day here in Fort Collins with the sun shining, the temperature hovering around 70 degrees, and the fruit trees showing off their dressy blossoms.

I love Fort Collins! One of my favorite college towns. :)
