Marketing cars to dog-lovers? What a great idea!

As mentioned before both here and on the DogCars.com blog, we’ve heard that it never occurred to Honda that they should be marketing their Element to dog-lovers before we named it the Best In Show DogCar of the Year for 2007.
Since then, though, they’ve been coming up to speed faster than a Ferrari.
Infodog.com is an online entry and results site for people who show their dogs and compete with them in many other AKC events, such as obedience trials. Today I went there to check on a show result, and guess what I found? The online version of Honda’s new ad pitching the Element to dog-lovers!
I’m loving that we humble pets-lovers here can have such an influence, both the people who blog and the people who comment, e-mail us with ideas and much, much more! It’s like when we were at the Global Pet Expo trade show, and people from all kinds of companies kept coming up to the PetConnection team and telling us that although they never comment, they read us every day. Hi you guys!
I love my work. Love, love, love it.
Hey, hey Honda … you guys are smart. Wanna DogCar of the Year sticker? We got ‘em, right here. Because our readers asked for them, and just like Honda, we know a good idea when we see one.
