Darn...I knew I forgot to do something. I had planned on writing something up to submit for your book. (going to look at the deadline)

Christie's supposed to be here late tonight...not sure what time. Glad she didn't have to fly in last night though. It was ugly, ugly, ugly outside!

Thanks Gina for the open forum. Are you aware that the Health Freedom Org. is advising members that the San Francisco Bay area will soon be under a spray program of dangerous plastic nano-particles and pesticides along with cancer causing inert ingredients every 30 days for the next 5 years against a pest that's not a threat to health or agriculture. If it works in San Francisco, it will be used all over the country.

From the NYT: In recent weeks, the Senate bill was watered down to gain the support of a core group of Republicans, most notably from Senator Ted Stevens of Alaska, the senior Republican on the commerce committee, and Senator Susan Collins of Maine. The bill was sponsored by Senator Mark Pryor, Democrat of Arkansas, who said it was “more comprehensive and provides for greater transparency and enforcement” than the House bill. By a vote of 57 to 39, the Senate rejected the House bill on Tuesday.

I suggest we all take a good look at the 13 Senators who voted against the bill:

Wayne Allard (R-CO); Jonn Barrasso (R-WY); Jim Bunning (R-KY); Richard Burr (R-NC); Tom Coburn (R-OK); Thad Cochran (R-MS); Bob Corker (R-TN); Jim DeMint (R-SC); John Ensign (R-NV); Mike Enzi (R-WY); Jon Kyl (R-AZ); David Vitter (R-LA); and Roger Wicker (R-MS).

If one of these is your Senator, please round up your friends and make a stink. Write yourlocal papers, call your local news stations.

And at the peril of being political.... just remember which party watered this bill down and which party has all the votes against the bill. Maybe its just me, but I think its an important issue to consider when picking our next President.

Thank you so much, Gina! I am absolutely thrilled and honored to be involved with this project. The book is going to be fantastic. Alibar is such a special horse and I cannot wait to share his story as well as my photos.

Finally, I can write about what I choose to, which isn't much!

The vets I have gone to have warned about using plastic for cats' dishes. It might give the cat an allergy. My batman broke out in pimples over some parts because he was allergic to plastic.

He is okay now, no pimples.
