I just read my local newspaper, the Fort Collins Coloradoan, and in the Business Section, there is an article entitled, "Humane Society sues USDA. It seems downer cattle were subject to shocking with electric prods, streatms of water were shot in their noses and faces, dragged with chains. This was all video taped. They cows were sick, but the slaughterhouse wanted to use them for human consumption (which downer cows or not normally used). It was in today's issue at www.coloradoan.com and I hope the Humane Society wins the case. That is great news about what you are planning (I am talking about the newsletter).
