I was just looking at an ad for one from a local hardware store but since it seems to have acquired fad status I've been associating it with things like the Pocket Fisherman and the Thighmaster. Our collection of kitties and little pal Scout leave a constant snow storm of their coat material all over everything along with much dust which I suppose is part dander. Other than vaccuming constantly I always wondered if this supposedly robotic thing was anything more than a gimmick. Would much appreciate an objective appraisal before I shell out the $99 and face the ridicule of my wife... (who wont buy a dish washer either). It is awesome for pet hair on clothes and the couch. I mean awesome. Even passed muster with middle schooler. mucho beter than tape. We had a few bugs flying around th house that came ith the guinea pig feed, and my son caught them with the thing. I swear! I heart it. Draw back..it only holds a charge for 6 mintues. but I have to say that six minutes is pretty long. It doesn't feel like a vacuum.
