Go dog, go!

Just got Dog World’s March travel issue, which features Drive to Win, an article by dog judge and breeder Alice Bixler on dog-tested, dog-approved cars. Gina and DogCars.com are prominently mentioned. Alice also interviews owners of minivans and motorhomes for their take on canine transportation. If it weren’t for the gas-guzzling factor, I’d lust for the 45-foot London Aire with granite countertops and leather massage seats (hmm, sounds kinky).
I’m happy to say that I also have a short piece in the news section of the same issue on how Tanzanian safarigoers can help researchers keep track of the all-too-rare African wild dogs. According to the Wildlife Conservation Society, ecotourism is essential for sustainable wild dog populations.
Gratuitous puppy blogging: Our Bella’s breeder has a litter of six Blenheim Cavaliers. They’ll be 8 weeks old tomorrow and we’re hoping to drive up to the Bay Area this weekend to see them. We think we’re ready to fall in puppy love again–that is, if Bella and Twyla approve of them.

Oooooh! Puppy breath!
Have fun!
