Pug driving carOK, so it’s not nearly as serious as the stuff over on the PetConnection.com blog, but we had to share this video of a dog driving an SUV down the freeway while its bald-headed human romps around the back seat acting rather dog-like.

We’re not certain what type of SUV the pug is driving, but it looks like it could be a Ford Escape.

One thing to note is that while the driving dog is responsibly harnessed, the goofball human is not. This reinforces the need to safely secure all beings in the vehicle, including smart dogs and stupid humans.

But the funniest part of this video are the thousands of comments made by people who watched it. They banter about how real this looks and if — or if not — the dog could actually drive the vehicle.

Here’s one of the funniest exchanges:

kittencomesoutofcann:
it’s not real because how would he reach the peedles?

Chardeedoobop:
it’s peddles not peedles…

notarivsanonymvs:
cruise control……

Editor’s note: It’s actually spelled “pedals.”
