Barks of agreement from some golden Element fans

Our selection last week of the top DogCars brought us a lot of attention. A few thought it was a joke — who buys a car based on what a dog finds comfortable? Others thought it was a great idea (or should that be grrrreat idea?) but disagreed with our choices.
Buying a vehicle to accommodate your dog isn’t any crazier than buying one to tow a boat, fit mountain bikes in, whatever your lifestyle dicates. Dogs are more popular than ever before, and although small dogs have been gaining like crazy, big dogs still remain the most popular. So, yeah, our official position is that it’s a fantastic idea to consider your dog’s comfort and safety when shopping for a vehicle.
Seriously, you mean there are people who don’t?
We don’t get that.
As for disagreeing with our selections, well, everyone’s entitled, right? You bet! We love comments on the reviews and on this blog as well, whether you agree or disagree.
Davis and Steff Haines family of Pennsylvania aren’t disagreeing with our top choice of the Honda Element, though. In fact, they sent us a picture of their three goldens in the family Element. They write:
Thought you guys might like to see how our three Goldens (L-R, Madison, Finn, and “KC” :-) have been enjoying their Honda Element for the past 3 1/2 years!! Glad you agree with our choice of the best dog car several years ago!
Thanks, David and Steff, and paws up to Madison, Finn and KC!
