NASCAR dogs play while racers are away

When it comes to rating dog-friendly vehicles, NASCAR race cars are probably at the bottom of the list. After a couple of laps in one of those race rockets, your pooch will never want to go for a Sunday drive again.
However, that doesn’t necessarily mean that dogs of NASCAR drivers are doomed to suffer when their families hit the road. In fact, a story on the NASCAR website points out that while their speed-loving owners are away, many NASCAR dogs are treated like royalty at K9 Cabins & Dog Trails, Inc. in Troutman, NC.
While these accommodations surely cost a pretty penny, they are no doubt a better idea than subjecting one’s dog to the eardrum-shattering noise and exhaust fumes of the race track. Leave that experience for us race fans to endure.
