Dr. Becker: Leashes, collars and barfing dogs

October 3, 2007

Our Dr. Becker sent me the link from his last “Good Morning America” appearance. I meant to put it up right after he was on, but … um … I have the attention span of a gnat, so … here you go (click on “pet gadgets”).

He’ll next be on “GMA” Oct. 26. Not sure if the subject has been finalized yet. I’ll post more when I have the information.

He also was the first person to be interviewed on the new PetLifeRadio.com.

And speaking of vido … I just put a funny one over on the DogCars.com blog.

  1. That cell phone for dogs he was showing looks like it weighs as much as my dog!

  2. As the company says, “kitties will have to wait”, and that probably goes for smaller dogs also. If the GPS capabilities and the add-on heat sensor works as well as they hope, it could be a helpful tool for some folks (the K-9 dog in the hot car might have lived if he was wearing a heat sensor that could call his partner for help when the temp reached 85 or higher. The car heat sensor only worked when the key was in the ignition, but this would work as long as the batteries were charged.) The story also mentioned use of these devices for people - Alzheimer’s patients etc.
