  1. Ghillie looks like my Hannah…..except she’s a little bigger than that.

    Love those Chocolate Labs.

  5. The Other Pat:

I am glad I know what breed I am looking at now, but I still want to get some chocolate.

Straybaby, if you are reading this, the fish on hold from the FDA was on June 28, 2007—hope it is held in the freezer because the odor may become unacceptable.

Have to go now and hunt the house for some chocolate tidbits.

  7. Dark chocolate is good for your blood pressure. It was in the paper this morning.

A dog is good for that, too, long proven.

So a chocolate dog …. double good!

(Except in flatcoats brown is called “liver.” Is liver still good for you? I can’t keep up?!)

  8. Gina, I stuck to the chocolate concept, making my own reality.

Now I am human again after the chocolate dose, and my blood pressure has gone down.

  9. So Ghillie is a Flatcoated Retriever…..I’ve never heard of that one. My dog is a Choc Lab & looks just like Ghillie…..only difference is that my dog’s coat isn’t fluffy like Ghillie’s (except right after a bath). Geez, maybe I have a Flatcoated Retriever & didn’t know it!

Now I want some chocolate…..I like liver but I thing I’d prefer chocolate right now.

Happy 4th everyone. Keep an eye on your little fur kids tonight when the fireworks start.

  10. Right now it sounds like a war going on outside.

  11. Gina, the problem with liver is that the antibiotics and other medicinals fed to animals concentrates there. So eat the liver, you’re eating things you probably don’t want to.

The only liver I would eat on a regular basis would be from strictly organic animals, or from wild game harvested by someone I know.

But I don’t know if liver will “kill” you for other reasons!
