They are our companions, our loves, our partners. We should never have to doubt the safety of any food-human or animal. When we have so many farmers struggling in America, HOW could our government allow this to happen? Any explanation is a small consolation indeed. I don’t trust pet foods anymore and I’m having a hard time trusting human foods. Particulary the baby formula that my new granddaughter drinks thats made my nestle’. Of course they had pet foods that were recalled. So how do I know that the protein powder in the baby formula isn’t contaminated also. I don’t know what is safe to eat for me,my family, or my furry friends. I’ve lost 5lbs since March 12th when Max died. God help us all! I am numb with a feeling of pure violation. The worldly elite, who are money grabbing and power hungry, have violated not only humanity but the creatures who make this planet their home.

I wish I could say that my own country, the USA, have not violated me and mine; sadly I cannot.

As someone said in an earlier post, it is Pet Connection and truly humane individuals, who would not give up…that is the reason the FDA is finally picking up the cause. Yet, the cause is actually the reason they were formed. What made them lay down on the job?

After calling 14 phone numbers & talking to over 20 people from local, regional & federal USDA offices to a local poultry processor & even an export company in Laredo -- none knew anything about it -- except one person in WA. Michelle told me that this is an old export requirement, back from Feb 2004, when the area had an Asian Flu outbreak. There is an " * " that directs down to an UPDATE -- which is a ban on pork from Canada. They are currently trying to get MX to lift the ban for TX. Talk about "heart failure".
