The Itchmo forums don't show any problems reported for the cat food, and there have been no comments about the dog food. My concern with Merrick is that I am really turned off by their website. It's too cutesy. I don't want to buy my animals food that's called "Grandma's Pot Pie". I just want plain names, with the ingredients. You will need to check your specific tuna cans; I buy Safeway Solid White Albacore Tuna in Water. The ingredients list does show the use of a vegetable broth which contains soy as the third ingredient by quantity present. In this specific case, the can is listed as being a product of Thailand.

I guess the wet is a different matter. For certain I would stay away from all wet foods and, of course, any of the suspect or quasi suspect ingredients.
