There have been insinuations that the company was trying to hide the recall from the FDA.

Weeks ago, I emailed the FDA webmaster & asked WHERE is the recall listed on their site… Of course, no response! :(

Isn’t it ironic how WE know whats coming down hours before it happens?

The FDA is hopeless. No wonder we feel as if we aren’t protected.

Peter Atkins, founder and owner of Natura: Innova, Evo and that California something or other made an interesting statement on his website. He said he is determined to acquire or build from scratch a plant just for them. He said he already has approval from the board of directors and promises to use only US ingredients. He does this and he will be light years ahead of the pack. I guess I’ll give him credit for foreward thinking. Probably wouldn’t hurt him to open up his site to a customer suggestion forum where we could say what we really desire in pet food.
I’m not ready to buy yet, but I might send some emails asking how serious and committed he is to actually pleasing his customers.

I’ve always scoffed at conspiracy theories. And I don’t think this is a qualified conspiracy either. But I do believe there are those who conspire to deceive. The entire industry has been deceptive and secretive.
Not to mention the lack of honesty and integrity. I can forgive an honest person who makes a mistake and admits it. But I don’t recall anyone admitting any wrongdoing. They’re all just hapless victim’s.
Each one just points a finger at the other one. I expect that from four and five year olds.

I was browsing over the press releases and the replies to emails. Notice how they all sound the same? There’s almost a rythym to them. So precise and lulling.
This is not overwith. There are still more recalls to come. I’m sure the other flavors both cans and bags will also be added soon. Especially the one’s on sale. Almost like clockwork.

And BTW, I no longer think ‘recall’ is an appropriate descriptor anymore.

It stopped being a recall as soon as it was determined that contaminated crap was imported from China.

Throw in questionable securities trading, contaminated rice protein, ongoing lab tests, falsified origin documents, unreliable supplier chains, shortage of home grown commodities, VISA problems, lack of global regulation, import alerts, senate hearings, problems in South Africa, incompetent manufacturers, unexplained illness…

Throw in a few good looking women, a couple of spies, a hot car and you’ve got the next James Bond movie.
