Someone else that she knew had a dog who ate Alpo Prime Cuts... it threw up blood and died. So she called all the pet food and grocery stores in town and asked them to remove it from the shelves (which they did). Vomiting blood within a few hours of eating is not a symptom of either rat poison or kidney failure. Has anyone heard of this sort of thing? Maybe an unrelated toxin? (I read here on PetConnection that Menu Foods thought there might be four toxins). Any ideas?
