Coming soon: Global Pet Expo!

I love Global Pet Expo. Just love it. It’s one place where I can spot trends in pet products, check out all the cool new stuff and see just about every imaginable company that has anything to do with pets. I leave Thursday for GPE, which this year is in Orlando.
Sure, your feet will ache after you’ve spent a few hours walking the trade-show floor, which is several football fields in size. And sure, your mouth hurts from all the talking and smiling. But you go home on top of the trends, with lots and lots of leads to follow up.
Pet-writers paradise, it is. (OK, so they put the thing together for retail buyers, not the media. Small point!)
Most of the Pet Connection team will be there. We’re leaving Christie behind to run the blog (sorry, Christie!), but I’m going, and so is Dr. Becker, and Susan and Dr. Rolan Tripp. I’ll blog from GPE, and I’ll certainly blog after.
Here’s what I want from all of you: What do you want me to look at, on your behalf? What interests you? What would you seek out if you had a media pass? Here’s the list of exhibitors. Let me know!
There is another Pet Expo in Columbus Ohio in March and I will be there w/ my rescue. Too bad you aren’t going to the same one!

I want to see a dog coat for short coated, little dogs that nicely covers their legs and is EASY to get on and off. I have tried TopCoat, but it is a real pain to get on and off and the warmer/waterproof version is FAR too stiff for my MinPins. See if you can find a company making a dog coat with smooth, lycra type lining, but full coverage and easy on and off. Believe it or not my MinPins go snow shoeing with me, but they get SO darn cold without good coverage!
