I’ve just posted this week’s Pet Connection feature, as it’ll appear in our subscriber newspapers. Lead story: Should you take your dog with you when visiting friends and relatives over the holidays? Plus: Hay is rabbits, Haiku for cats, a review of the Urban Hound Web site and more.
Bonus: Over on my personal blog Dogma, I get all gossipy about the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship dog show, and even predict a winner: James the English springer spaniel. The same handler won at Westminster with another springer, Samantha, in 2000. I picked her to win that year, too, as well as the winner of last year’s Westminster Kennel Club dog show, Rufus the bull terrier. Now, if only I did this well at the horse track.
