Wigs for dogs
By Gina Spadafori
August 16, 2006
So I’m on the phone with my co-author Dr. Marty Becker today — talking about our current books, and future books — and he mentions he’s doing a piece on this woman who makes wigs for dogs. And I’m thinking … whaaaaa???
OK, so maybe a cover for a Chinese crested, or a fur piece for a dog whose coat has been destroyed by disease or medical treatment.
And then I think, well, hmmm, maybe Marty is just pulling my leg.
Turns out … not.

Hmm… Shave yellow flatcoat. Get black wig. Show success?
Sorry, I couldn’t help it…

Great jumpin’ cats. And I thought putting “switches” into the topknots of show poodles was bad.
