In another life, I was Real Estate Editor of The Sacramento Bee. Seriously. I was in the job for about five minutes when I realized I’d better get off the dime and buy a house. That was something like a $300K in appreciated value and almost 20 years ago, but even more important, I have a great place to live where I don’t have to worry about the property owner bitching about four dogs, three rabbits and a parrot.
Both of which explain why I loved this post on why you should care about the real estate bubble, no matter if you’re in or out of the market, live in a bubble or don’t.
Thanks, BlogHer. Now … give some front-screen time to folks who write about animals, will you?

I just posted a Flickr piece (horses, fish eyes) and am writing about dogs and pet urns…in a piece that comes up today.. (ok odd subjects but… they all tie into media and motherhood).
Found you through blogher. :)

Hey I wonder if we could add pets in the Mommy & Family category? I certainly think of my cat as my family.
Or they could go in Health & Wellness, because they lower our blood pressure.
Or in Hobbies…since they take up a lot of time!
Are you interested? Because I’ll totally pitch Lisa (who is the queen of BlogHer content strategy) if you are. :)
