Can you help save these 35 retiring sled dogs?

March 25, 2011

Outdoor Adventures Whistler, the British Columbia company that owned the 100 sled dogs who were slaughtered last year, is looking for adoptive or foster homes for around 35 retiring dogs.

Sled dog advocates are asking that people respond with offers to help, not attacks; this is, they argue, exactly what we want sled dog businesses to do.

If you can help, please contact Paula at pdelbosco@whistlerwag.com. And spread the word!

  4. That is awesome! Maybe now no others will have to be slaughtered. They can be rehomed successfully.
    GOOD JOB!

  6. How long did it take to find homes for them all? Was it just one day after this was posted? Either way, that is fantastic. I’m very happy for the dogs!
