April 7, 2008

Our first month’s $1,000 pet-care give-away is over — with Premier Pet sending out a $500 gift basket to the winner and one to the local shelter or rescue group of the winner’s choice — and we’re on to the next contest, with $1,000 in products from the Oster company for one person drawn randomly from the subscriber list for our monthly e-mail newsletter.

Check out the goodies:

  • RapidBath Pet Bathing System
  • 1-yr supply of RapidBath shampoo (18 cartridges)
  • Paw Monster
  • Golden A5 Heavy Duty Clipper
  • Nail Grinder
  • Odor Grabber Deluxe
  • 1-yr supply of Odor Grabber replacement filters (6 filters)
  • Oster Shedding rakes (set of 3)

All that, PLUS a $500 PetSmart Gift Card

  1. Gina, if the products you list above are as good as the pet toy ama-a-fling that has a string going up and down, than the grooming supplies are great.

My daughter’s cats love that toy and she sent me pictures of two of the three having a lot of fun with it. One cat monopolized it for a while.

  2. Has the newsletter gone out? Because I believe that I signed up–I certainly tried!–and I haven’t seen it yet.

  3. I didn’t get the newsletter either — I re-signed up yesterday just in case it got eaten the first time.

  4. I’m writing one this week, with Dr. Becker and Chistie’s reporting from the Western Veterinary Conference.

  5. I wonder where (what country) Oster’s stuff is made?

  6. Petsmart? Is this a desperate attempt at rebuilding the business they lost by foot-dragging pulling poisoned petfood off their shelves? or is this kind of a sick pet joke?
